Our vision for Victory is to establish a community of Christian believers;
discovering, developing and deploying their God-given individual gifts
thereby exemplifying the manifest Body of Christ
and building His kingdom in Oroville and beyond.
We believe that a great commitment to the Great Commission and the Great Commandment will build a great church.
As Jesus told the apostle Peter “I will build my Church and the gates of Hell will not prevail against it”.
Jesus taught the Body Life principle all throughout the Gospels. Each one of His people are a part of the whole Body of Christ
and as such are given a part to play, (our function in the body). Our part in the Body is something every believer has the duty
to discover, to develop and to deploy as we gather together. When parts of the body are missing or inactive the whole body
is handicapped and the rest suffer for it. What’s more the gathering in of the chosen (evangelism) is slowed.
We at Victory believe strongly that in this day and time we need to make manifest the Body of Christ as much as possible in order to do our part in the Great Harvest.
This is how we will bring the lost hurting people in our community to a saving faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
